Today, the United Nations(UN) commemorates World AIDS Day and recalls that it is also a pandemic that should receive attention despite the dramatic outbreak of COVID-19.

Without bold action against inequalities, the world risks missing the targets to end AIDS by 2030, as well as a prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and a spiraling social and economic crisis. _UN

In the history of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), it is impossible to stop talking about the famous “patient zero.”
