Ashton Kutcher reveals he thought he was going to die
Ashton Kutcher has revealed he was diagnosed with vasculitis, adding that he felt he could never see, hear, or walk again at one point.
The actor, who has starred in hits including Two and a Half Men, said:
“Like two years ago, I had this strange, extremely uncommon form of vasculitis that knocked out my sight, my hearing, and all of my equilibrium,” Kutcher said in “Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge.” “It took approximately a year to recover; I consider myself fortunate to be alive.
Vasculitis: a rare inflammation of the blood vessels.
Kutcher said he started experiencing symptoms when he woke up in the middle of the night with excruciating pain in his lower back.
“I couldn’t lay down. I couldn’t sit up. I couldn’t do anything. The pain was 10 out of 10,” he wrote.
