NaPoWriMo Day 10

I’m my ship

Sea Songnet to Be Free

--

Art By Author

I remember the sea, far away
Grew up by the coast and loved to swim
The beach was my favorite place to play
With waves that crash and leave treasures within

Through each new day, new horizons call
The ocean’s song, so sweet and strong
To be brave, and never can fall
Find treasures that were there all along

Growing older, the fear of the sea
Gave way to thoughts, wild and free
Piloting my own life, I came to see that
I could capture dreams and let them be

The sea lives within our hearts and minds
Its secrets are alive, forever unconfined.
