Mon amour

Come what may, we must face the day

With courage and with grace

For all the good that lies ahead

We must be thankful and embrace.

Life is full of hardships and pain

But also of beauty and love

If we focus on the positive

Our outlook will surely improve.

Comes the day when we must part,

We’ll look back and see

All the good that came from this,

And be glad we were together.

Farewells are never easy,

But they’re a necessary part of life.

So let’s take comfort in the fact

That our love will continue to grow,

Even when we’re no longer each other.

And pick up where we left off
