Eskimo Kiss

The nose, the inveterate forgotten of the love arts

Eskimo kiss,
Noses together,
Smelling each other,
So much joy.

It’s a moment of bliss,
A simple thing we can do,
To feel close to someone,
In a world that’s often cold.

But sometimes,
We need some space,
A break from each other,
To find our own way.

Returning once more,
To each other’s arms,
We find new delights,
In Eskimo kisses.

It’s a gesture of love,
A way to show you care,
Taking the time to pause,
In the midst of busy lives.

The Inuit kiss,
So primitive and pure,
Two souls reaching out,
Smelling each other’s scent.

So, when we’re apart,
And the miles between us seem vast,
I’ll close my eyes and think of you,
And dream of our next Eskimo kiss.
