I dream of us taking the train

Together to the opera

And I wonder resignedly

If it was “Carmen,” or “La Traviata.”

When you still gripped my hand,

Though it caused a growing demand,

While you listened to the Bel Canto

You followed the singer’s mantra.

When you decided to run away,

Escaping from the light of day,

With the tenor from that festival.

But poor of you,

A quick goodbye was what he left you,

The next day,

Your adventure at the opera.

The original poem is my inspiration, and I have used no creation elements of artificial intelligence, so in vogue today.
