A Heart Poem for a Kind and Absolutely Tolerant Society?
A power that makes us stand firm against time
Respect allows us insight into one other’s heart:
An understanding of the feelings we impart;
Tolerance means being open to the very start,
And never forgetting to accept and not depart.
Acceptance is a thing both given and earned,
A key that opens doors on which we’ve not turned;
It brings an inner peace that has no limit or yearning,
Our faiths in common and with nothing ever spurned.
Together these three create a strength so divine:
A power that makes us stand strong against time.
Our hearts shall remain forever intertwined,
For Respect, Tolerance and Acceptance are sublime.
Our bond will never break, and so we’ll thrive
Respect, Tolerance, and Acceptance keep us alive.
For friendships to last, these attributes must survive
And together, we shall always strive and thrive.
We must remember that together we can succeed-
